Not much of anything right now

Okay, so it's May 26th and I've done squat... not even a squat.
I've been so completely fatigued and can't get into this new doctor until June 10th.
I have another doctor to call and hopefully that will be sooner.

I've somehow managed to gain and lose three pounds though.  However, I think it's just because I sleep all the time.

I'm determined to continue this quest but have to get my health back on track.  It also doesn't help that for the past few days it's been a million degrees and humid out.

Current weight 181.2

Tired, sluggish and fat

I haven't been eating well lately.  I've been eating whatever and too much of it.  I've given in to all my cravings and I think I've survived on pure junk for the past two days.  I can't remember the last fruit or vegetable I had.  I physically and mentally feel gross.
I have this warped mentality, I eat when it's a typical meal time even if I'm not hungry because I think if I don't eat, my body will go into starvation mode and my metabolism will slow.  What the???  If I simply wait another hour I might actually be hungry!  Gasp!
I've got to rediscover my willpower.

Any suggestions for what I can put on my playlist?
I don't listen to country or rap.
List whatever you got!

Cool Running :: The Couch-to-5K Running Plan

Change of plans, yep, already.
I'm going with the Couch to 5K Running Plan.  This will allow me to run for longer periods of time and shorter total amount of running.  I feel, for myself, it is a better fit to keep me motivated.

On your mark, get set, GO!

Last night I went for my first run.  It really wasn't much of a run since I'm walking a lot to work myself up to the running.  I'm following a plan that slowly increases running time.  This first run called for running 30 seconds then walk 4.5 minutes.  It was difficult to stick with the plan and only run the 30 seconds.

I ran on the treadmill which I don't like - way too boring.  The only thing that's good about it is that it keeps my speed consistant.  I walked at 3.9 and ran at 5.0 for this first time.  Today my hips are sore but other than that I feel fine.

I will need to buy a new pair of running shoes.  I really like my current pair (Adidas Supernova Control) but they've seen their day.  I'll take them and head over to Star Line in the next week or two and see what they come up with.

I tend to research a lot and try to find out as much information I can on a subject so I will be doing that with running.  Best gadgets, best clothing, best turf, best training, etc.  I know concrete is bad and I'm lucky to have a lot of walking gravel paths in my immediate area.

I think I'll go ahead and put it out there - I'll record my weight once a week - I must be completely insane to do this but, what the hell.
